Apple's recent iPhone 17 event was packed with announcements, but according to a report from 9to5Mac, the company has at least 10 more product launches planned in the near future. Half of these are expected to arrive before the end of the year, with the rest slated for early 2026. As reported by The WP Times, citing the 9to5Mac.
Here’s a breakdown of what Apple enthusiasts can expect.
Remaining Releases for 2025
Several products announced at the September event didn't make it to market, but they are still scheduled for release this year, with some possibly launching as early as October.
M5 iPad Pro
Leading the charge is the new iPad Pro, powered by the M5 chip. This new processor is rumored to offer performance on par with the A19 Pro but with even greater power. The new model is also expected to feature a second front-facing camera in a portrait orientation, and may even get a square selfie sensor similar to the iPhone 17.
M5 Vision Pro
An updated version of the Vision Pro headset is also on the way, featuring the M5 chip instead of the current M2. Hardware-wise, the device is expected to remain the same in terms of weight and design, though a new strap and a Space Black color option are rumored.
AirTag 2
The popular item tracker is getting a new version with the U2 chip, first introduced in the AirPods Pro 3. This upgrade is expected to significantly improve the accuracy of finding lost items.
Apple TV and HomePod mini
Apple's smart home devices are also set for an update. The new Apple TV and HomePod mini will feature a new processor and the N1 network chip. The Apple TV will get support for the new Siri voice assistant and other Apple Intelligence features rolling out next year. The HomePod mini may also be available in new colors.
What to Expect in Early 2026
The first few months of 2026 will see the debut of several new products, with some expected as early as January or February and the rest in the spring.
M5 MacBook Pro
While MacBook Pro updates typically come in October, this year's refresh has been delayed. A major redesign with an OLED display and a thinner body isn't expected until late 2026. For now, the new model will stick with the current design and feature the more powerful M5 chip.
M5 MacBook Air
Just like the Pro model, the MacBook Air will also get a processor upgrade to the M5 chip in the first quarter of 2026. These improvements are expected to be similar to the A19 Pro, but adapted for the more powerful M5 chip.
New Mac Display
Apple is reportedly working on two new external monitors, but only one is currently on the near-term roadmap. This will likely be an updated version of the Studio Display or Pro Display XDR with a 27-inch screen.
iPhone 17e
Following the release of the iPhone 16e earlier this year, an annual refresh of this model is anticipated. The new e-version, with an A19 chip and other minor improvements, is expected in the spring.
Smart Home Hub
Finally, Apple is set to introduce its long-awaited Siri Hub. This product was initially planned for last year but was dependent on the development of Apple Intelligence Siri. With the release of iOS 26.4, this new hub is finally expected to hit the market in early 2026.
